2. Overview
The website is a static information site. It has no user accounts, no contact forms, no comments and no newsletter. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools (for example no Google Analytics and no Meta Pixel), no ads, no social media plugins, no externally loaded fonts and no scripts or content from other servers. All files of the website are delivered from https://shneo.app.
Nevertheless, personal data is processed when you visit the website, because your browser technically connects to the server of the hosting provider (section 3).
3. Hosting with GitHub Pages
The website is provided through the GitHub Pages service. The provider is GitHub; according to GitHub, GitHub B.V., Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097 JB Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for users in the European Economic Area. The website is delivered encrypted over HTTPS.
When you open the website, GitHub processes the data technically required for the connection. This includes in particular your IP address and details of the request, such as the requested address, date and time and the technical details sent by your browser. GitHub states that it logs and stores the IP address of visitors to a GitHub Pages site for security purposes. GitHub does not state a specific retention period for this data; it is determined by GitHub. SHneoDesigns does not analyse this data and receives no visitor statistics.
GitHub may also process data in the USA. According to GitHub, it bases such transfers on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide the website securely, reliably and without running our own server.

4. Storing your theme choice in your browser
The website automatically follows your device's light or dark appearance; nothing is stored for this. Only if you click the colour scheme switch yourself does the website store your choice ("light" or "dark") under the name "theme" in your browser's local storage, so that it is kept the next time you open a page.
This value stays on your device and is not sent to SHneoDesigns or to third parties. It is not a cookie and not an identifier. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings (delete the site data of shneo.app).
It is stored only at your explicit request and is required for the function you asked for – keeping the chosen appearance (§ 25(2) No. 2 of the German TDDDG). No further processing takes place.
5. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us at support@shneo.app, we process the data you send us, for example your e-mail address, your name (if given), the content of your message, attachments and technical details you choose to include. We use this data only to handle your request. Please never send us passwords, payment details or other confidential data.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract or steps prior to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering requests). We keep the data as long as needed to handle your request; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

6. Links to other websites
The website contains links to other services, for example to Google Play or to the privacy information of other providers. This content is only loaded when you click a link. The privacy terms of the respective provider apply to it.
7. Your rights
Where SHneoDesigns processes personal data about you, you have the right under the GDPR to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).
